SMS Application Mysms is Available in Android Tablet Optimized Version

The popular cross-platform SMS application Mysms is now available in an Android (News - Alert) tablet optimized version. Text messages can be sent and received on your desktop running Windows or Mac OS –or on your android device complete with desktop notifications. Mysms users can now take full advantage of a full-sized portable keyboard for easy texting, full advantage of the larger screen and CPU cycles offered by tablets.

Mysms is a provider of cloud-based SMS communications. It's a full service SMS application for every screen in your house or office. There are versions that run inside Chrome, Evernote (News - Alert) or Facebook.  With Mysms, you can use your number as a username, sync the application to the Mysms cloud, and then the cloud syncs all your devices.

Messages are free to other Mysms users, regardless of their location, across the globe. If you send normal text messages from your phone you will be charged the normal rates. If you use the Mysms app on both ends you can do it for free and save a few bucks when connecting to friends and family.

About a half-million people have downloaded Mysms for Android. Now that Mysms is available with and now with a tablet version, it is getting more and more popular by the day. The Phone (News - Alert) and desktop applications of Mysms are free, but the tablet edition is available at an introductory price of $1.99.

Mysms is a platform-independent SMS service.
