TextMe Introduces New Android Application

TextMe is ready to serve consumers with free SMS, calls and video calls. The company has made an announcement about the new version of its flagship application available on the Android marketplace.

 This application is available both on iOS (iPhone (News - Alert) and iPod Touch) and Android devices.

Based in San Francisco, TextMe, a provider of enhanced communications on mobile devices, offers the best communication experience to millions of users worldwide through free SMS text messages, free voice calls and free video chats.

TextMe offers device-independent and carrier-independent free mobile communications to millions of users worldwide. It allows users to enjoy free SMS texting, instant messaging and voice and video calling on their device of choice: iOS, Android or Windows Phone (News - Alert) 7.

This very rich instant messaging functionality includes the ability to share pictures. Additionally, the users will be able to send and receive SMS text messages, place or receive phone calls to other TextMe users or to any phone number, and enjoy video conversations.

In other company news, TMCnet reported that TextMe had introduced a free application on 4th July, 2012. This application enables users to make calls to mobile or landline phones in the United States from anywhere in the world without incurring charges.
