Skybase Partners with Cloudmark

Sybase 365, the mobile services arm of SAP AG (SAP) and a provider of mobile interconnection services and mobile commerce solutions, and Cloudmark (News - Alert), Inc., a company that provides messaging threat protection for mobile, fixed and social networks, have entered into a partnership agreement.


According to the terms of the agreement, Sybase (News - Alert) 365 will integrate the Cloudmark Security Platform into its network to protect customers against all types of mobile messaging abuse. The Cloudmark Security Platform for mobile network operators delivers the fastest and most accurate protection against all types of mobile messaging abuse. It is the only security solution to operate at mobile speed. It provides real-time visibility and control of mobile messaging threats originating from internal or external networks and delivers the flexible policy controls and scalability that operators need to stop threats before they impact mobile networks and subscribers.

The Cloudmark Security Platform is extremely scalable, capable of protecting even the largest mobile network operators with minimal footprint and latency, thus minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO). Operators benefit from the ability to protect revenue loss associated with grey traffic and bulk-messaging SIM Boxes on their network, as well as implementing controls to stop the spread of spam, phishing and malware to their subscriber base via the mobile messaging channel.
