Cooliris Announces Launch of LiveShare for Android

July 11, 2012

Cooliris Inc., a major player in immersive visual experiences and the creator of the native Android (News - Alert) Gallery application, has launched LiveShare for Android, a free messaging application.

Officials with Cooliris said the all-new version of LiveShare for Android eliminates consumers' expensive messaging costs with a free and expertly-organized experience that blends 1-to-1 and group messaging with collage-style photo sharing.

According to company officials, the new LiveShare for Android leverages the user's Interaction Graph to create a more efficient way to communicate with those who matter the most to them.

With its deeper integration with Facebook (News - Alert) and the device's address book, LiveShare allows users to seamlessly invite their friends and interact more visually in real time.

"Mobile users expect performance and simplicity along with the ability to express themselves using their phones," said Soujanya Bhumkar, CEO at Cooliris. "We believe that the communication experience should be delightful and cross-platform, and our team has worked diligently to create a ubiquitous experience across Web, Android and iOS. This all-new version for Android accomplishes that goal."

Earlier in May, Amobee (News - Alert), the company defining mobile advertising, announced the acquisition of AdJitsu.

With this acquisition, Amobee will employ AdJitsu’s cutting-edge technology to accelerate the innovation of highly interactive and spectacular 3D mobile ads. AdJitsu is a wholly-owned business unit of Cooliris.

With AdJitsu’s technology and product suite, Amobee will collaborate with ad networks, premium publishers, brands and agencies to create highly engaging and differentiated 3D mobile ad units.

Mobile users can tap on the ad and engage with 3D models of advertisers’ products with unmatched interactivity, speed and animation. Furthermore, AdJitsu’s technology has the unique ability to transform existing 2D ad assets into interactive 3D campaigns, resulting in impressive click through rates and higher revenue for advertisers and publishers.
